In my years as an artist, I’ve never sought to impose a set style on my work. Some of my pieces are totally abstract and full of movement, with a sense of freeness. Others are quite controlled, utilizing formal structures and elements within their design. Some are flat and without texture, while others, thick with paint are scratched away in some areas. Most of the colors I use are bold with a sense of joy, yet I also draw  out various shapes, through my use of black and whites. My works make use of a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, and pencils to create my work. I create both realistic renditions of still lifes, people, and environments, and bold abstract works.

I hope that people might take away a feeling of happiness and a visual connection with my paintings, and that they will feel they have learned something – whether it be positive or negative – from what they have seen in my artwork.
